The United Kingdom’s House of Lords has approved a bill to establish a controversial asylum pact with Rwanda. The Council of Europe – a human rights body independent of the EU – has strongly criticised the bill.
Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders, known for his anti-EU rhetoric, has won a landslide victory in the 2023 Dutch general election.
