EU citizens go to the polls

From 6 to 9 June 2024, EU citizens will vote to elect their national representatives to the European Parliament. Covering this key political event in EU affairs, the European Newsroom (enr) provides verified, independent and reliable content produced by the news agencies involved in the project. Unlike national media, the enr’s content on the EU elections offers a comprehensive European view and includes different country perspectives.

The enr will produce and disseminate content about central themes that play a role in the electoral process and the outcome of the EU-wide elections. Audiences can access text, images, video, interactive graphics and other multimedia content. Combined with the enr’s Key Stories and Europe in brief articles, which are jointly produced by the participating agencies, the enr’s coverage will inform continuously and comprehensively about the elections and these central themes.

Around 370 million voters in the 27 member states of the European Union will decide on the future composition of the tenth European Parliament. Our interactive graphics show real-time results and background information.

The enr’s EU elections content is available in English, German, French and Spanish.
