Sarajevo, (Fena) – The Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (FMUP) continues to strengthen cooperation with the EUPA4BiH project financed by the European Union, with the aim of improving cadet training and the professional capacities of police officers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the consent and support of the federal minister Ramo Isak.

On this occasion, representatives of the EUPA4BiH project presented at the FMUP Police Academy further planned activities related to the implementation of specialized training for police officers, with a special focus on the areas of organized crime investigations, as well as management and leadership in the field of organized crime in law enforcement agencies.

The planned activities include the development of modern curricula and syllabi, which will be developed and implemented in cooperation between the FMUP Police Academy and EUPA4BiH, in the areas of organized crime investigations, as well as management/leadership in the field of organized crime in law enforcement agencies.

This approach aims to ensure a high level of training quality, alignment with the real needs of police agencies, and the application of the best European practices in the field of combating organized crime.

EUPA4BiH is a four-year project financed by the European Union with the aim of strengthening law enforcement institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project contributes to improving professional capacities, strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and harmonization with European Union practices in the fight against organized crime and terrorism.

The FMUP Police Academy and EUPA4BiH expressed their joint commitment to continuing and deepening cooperation, convinced that the planned activities will significantly contribute to strengthening the professional knowledge, skills and leadership capacities of police officers, as well as the overall efficiency of the law enforcement system in BiH, it was announced by the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
