Sarajevo, (Fena) – The Council of Ministers of BiH unanimously adopted and will submit to the European Commission the Economic Reform Programme of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PER BiH) for the period 2026 – 2028, which, in synergy with the Reform Agenda, represents a key document for the stabilization and association process for meeting the economic criteria for EU membership.

PER BiH 2026 – 2028 defines economic policy measures of all levels of government in a three-year period and is aligned with three directions of sustainable development in BiH, namely good governance and public sector management, smart growth and a society of equal opportunities, as well as two horizontal themes: human capital for the future and the principle that no one must be excluded.

This document provides projections of the average growth rate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period 2026 – 2028.

It is projected that the economy in 2026 will record real GDP growth of about 2.6 percent, primarily driven by the strengthening of domestic demand. (16.01.)
