Skopje – According to preliminary results from yesterday’s parliamentary elections published this morning on its website by the State Election Commission, with over 99.27 percent of the votes processed, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE has won 431,251 (43.23%) or 58 seats in the new 120 member parliamentary assembly, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM 153,250 (15.36%) – 18 representatives, European Front of DUI 137,486 (13.78%) – 19 representatives, the coalition from the Albanian opposition block “Worth” 106,991 (10.72%) – 13 seats, the Left has 67,338 votes (6.75%) – 6 representatives, and Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia 55,539 (5.57%) – 6 representatives. The other parties and coalitions participating in the elections have under one percent of votes.
In the first Electoral Unit, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE won 76,192 votes and would have 10 representatives, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 25,730 votes – 3 seats, the coalition from the Albanian opposition block “Worth” (21,604), the European Front coalition of DUI (20,560) and the Left (19,596) each have 2 representatives and Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia (11,211) one representative.
In Electoral Unit 2, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE with 66,422 votes would have 8 representatives, the European Front coalition of DUI with 30,626 votes four seats, the coalition from the Albanian opposition block “Worth” has 25,820 votes and 3 representatives, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 18,631 votes will have 2 seats, as well as Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia (16,229), while the Left (10,673) one representative.
In the third Electoral Unit, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE with 96,546 votes would have 14 representatives, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 33,605 votes – 4 seats, and the Left (13,404) and Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia (9,426) each one representative.
In EU 4, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE with 96,536 votes would have 13 representatives, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 41,962 votes will have 5 seats, while the Left (12,427) and Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia (8,405) each one representative.
In the fifth electoral unit, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE with 73,916 votes would have 10 representatives, the European Front coalition of DUI with 27,013 – 4 seats, the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 26,904 – 3 seats, and the coalition from the Albanian opposition block “Worth” (11,067), the Left (9,926) and Movement KNOW – For Our Macedonia (8,757) each one representative.
In EU 6 the European Front coalition of DUI with 53,817 votes would have nine seats, the coalition from the Albanian opposition block “Worth” with 47,687 votes 7 representatives, the “Your Macedonia” coalition from VMRO-DPMNE with 21,639 votes 3 representatives and the Coalition for European Future led by SDSM with 6,418 votes one representative.
The right to vote in the parliamentary elections was held by 1,815,350 citizens registered in the electoral roll. Voting was conducted according to the proportional model in six electoral units. Voting for parliamentary elections in the diaspora was not conducted as there were not enough registered nationals. (May 9)
