– What I promised during the election campaign, starting from the people’s offices, through addresses to the Parliament, through individuals in the Judicial Council, the Constitutional Court and the Security Council, that I would perform on the basis of professionalism, competence and I will not forget diversity, she said.

As she added, we must try to put an end to balkanization, to help each other, to be politicians. – Therefore, we must start understanding each other, helping each other, not reaching for a veto, but reaching for support, said Siljanovska Davkova, adding that her paths lead first to the Balkans, and Brussels, as she added, is indispensable.

The mandate of the current president of the state, Stevo Pendarovski, expires on Sunday the 12th of May, so then the inauguration of the newly elected president Siljanovska Davkova should take place. The parliamentary session should be scheduled by the current president of the Assembly, Jovan Mitreski.

These were the seventh presidential elections since the independence of the country, and they were held together with the 11th parliamentary elections (May 9)
