Barely a quarter of Swedes want to switch the krona for the euro. This is shown by a survey conducted by TV4 together with the opinion institute Verian.
Despite the weak krona, opposition to the euro has increased since the last measurement in the fall.
According to the survey, 53 percent of Swedes are against a currency change and 24 percent are for it – last fall, 47 percent were against and 27 percent for.
In a referendum on September 14, 2003, 55.9 percent of Swedes voted no and 42.0 percent yes to adopting the euro as currency in Sweden.
