Skopje – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stated that negotiations are not entered into just to participate, but we must fight for success, adding that government representatives present their positions on the start of negotiations with the EU and talks with Bulgaria, but patience is needed.
– I am not in this story just to participate, but to finish with success. That is the essence of this whole process. The essence is not to change the Constitution up to the next hurdle in six months. It is not with a mandate “from – to”, but a process that lasts, it is not a process that will start now and end next week, said Prime Minister Mickoski in the show Only Interview on Channel 5 television.
Mickoski believes that if there is a will, there is also a way to prevent the bilaterality of the whole process and to have no more obstacles. Asked how Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban wanted to mediate the talks with the EU, the Prime Minister said that his intention was to invite him and the Bulgarian president to Budapest for talks as the chair of the European Union.
– Let the European Union be the arbiter, the chairman of the EU invites us to Budapest to resolve all issues in advance, so it is not staged and there are no more obstacles further and there is no bilaterality of this process. Let’s start immediately, said Mickoski.
He emphasized that we must be good neighbors, but the demands must be objective, not bilateral, and if we continuously attack each other with arguments from the Middle Ages, then we will not get out of this swamp. (October 3)
