The High Council of the Prosecution, in collaboration with the EU4Justice program, discussed over two days in Tirana about the main priorities of the Strategic Plan of HCP for the years 2025-2030.

This activity gathered together the Council members, professionals and key actors of the system such as the Prosecutor General, heads of SPAK’s Prosecution offices, Prosecution in Tirana, Durrës, Fier, Berat, Elbasan, Dibër, Kukës, Shkodër, and Gjirokastër, the leading structure of the Council’s administration, representatives from the Ministry of Justice, as well as two experts invited from the assistance program Arturo Valdés Trapote and Francesco de Sanctis.

The head of HCP, Mirela Bogdani, stated that drafting this plan will serve as an instrument to efficiently fulfill the constitutional, legal obligations as well as the public’s expectations in the management process of the prosecution system, by aligning them with international standards.

“With the continuous support and contribution of experts from the EU4Justice program, we have a unique opportunity to enhance our capacities,” she emphasized.

The discussions and conclusions drawn marked a fundamental step towards maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity, as well as the consolidation of the prosecution system.
