In Albania, the awards for the second call of the Challenge Fund, a project of EU4Innovation, were presented. During a special ceremony, the 20 winners who brought innovative ideas and creative solutions for business development and boosting the innovation ecosystem in Albania were announced.
20 startups were selected from among 149 applicants.
Each of these innovative initiatives will receive grants ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 euros, empowering them to bring their vision to life and drive development in Albania.
Albanian Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja announced that these projects, which represent a combination of vision, dedication and creativity, will be financially supported to turn their ideas into reality, directly impacting economic growth and the creation of new jobs.
The ceremony was attended by Niklas Ström, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Albania, Hubert Herr, Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, and Sokol Duma, Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
