Skopje – The progress of the state in the process of European integration, future steps in the accession process, as well as opportunities for strengthening cooperation with the European Parliament, were the main topics of the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and the Permanent Rapporteur of the EP Foreign Affairs Committee for North Macedonia, Austrian MEP Thomas Waitz.
– I emphasized the Government’s firm commitment to advancing the European path through the implementation of a stable reform process in key areas, strengthening economic capacities, and improving the standard of living of citizens. Additionally, I addressed neighborly relations, stressing our commitment to their continuous improvement based on the principles of mutual respect and trust-building, Mucunski wrote on Facebook.
Minister Mucunski thanked Waitz for his work so far and the open cooperation towards the promotion of the Euro-integrative process of the Republic of North Macedonia.
