Students of the College of Europe in Tirana were on their first study trip organized by the EU Delegation in Albania and led by students, as part of the “EU4Education” campaign.
The trip started in Rrëshen, about 120 kilometers northeast of Tirana, where the students met with local youth to share their experience at the College of Europe and to talk about the many opportunities that the EU offers to young Albanians in education.
They also visited the Rubik church, restored with the support of the EU, and the Info Tower.
In Lezhë, 70 kilometers west of Tirana, the students met with the youth of the HANA Youth Center, to exchange ideas and experiences.
The study trip ended with a visit to Shirokë, where the students saw firsthand how EU funds are helping the development of tourism and supporting local communities.
An excellent opportunity for these future European leaders to connect, learn, and see how EU investments are making a real impact for young people and the Albanian regions./ (March 24)
