Skopje – Several Western European countries have offered long-term rehabilitation for severely injured patients from the fire at the “Puls” nightclub in Kocani on March 16, announced today the Minister of Health of North Macedonia, Arben Taravari.

He said that these EU member states have already expressed readiness for “long-term and more professional rehabilitation” for those patients who will need it.

– In the following days, we will also inform where these patients can be accommodated if long-term rehabilitation is needed. Of those seriously injured, surely some will have such a need, said Taravari.

He informed that out of the total 115 injured individuals being treated abroad, four to five patients remain in critical condition.

– Unfortunately, four to five patients are in a more serious condition, some have deteriorated, however, our colleagues in the hospitals where these patients are being treated are trying to give their best to get through this difficult period, explained Taravari. (March 25, 2025)
