Kochani – Members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade (DPD) from Kochani will receive a digital radio station and a repeater with a large range as a donation from the German Embassy in Skopje.

The donation agreement was signed by the German Ambassador to North Macedonia, Petra Drexler, and the President of DPD – Kochani, Zlatko Iliev, emphasizing that it is a project realized as a continuation of the successful cooperation so far.

– The donation is from the budget of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Small Projects Fund, and the devices we will receive will significantly ease our communication and coordination during field operations. It is premium equipment from the manufacturer “Motorola” that will be placed in a location where the signal can cover an area of over a thousand square kilometers, i.e., the entire territory of the Kocani Valley, Iliev pointed out.

The new communication equipment will have ten times the power of the previous one, and the installation and commissioning should be completed next week.
