Ljubuški (Fena) – A two-day conference “Opportunities and potentials of the Creative Europe program” was opened on Friday in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Ljubuški, and on this occasion, the opportunities offered by this EU program were presented to interested individuals, associations, organizations, and institutions.

The coordinator of the BiH Desk for the “Creative Europe” program, Ilija Papac, reminded that the program is being implemented in the period from 2021 to 2027, and a total of 2.44 billion euros is available to users.

This is a centralized program, everything is online, everything is simplified, and users have a lot of freedom in the creation and implementation of the program itself – explained Papac.

The program is open to the cultural, creative, and media sector, television, radio, journalists, filmmakers, cultural institutions, and independent artists. Both individuals and private companies and institutions can apply.

The Assistant Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH for Science and Culture, Suvad Džafić, emphasized that the Ministry of Civil Affairs is responsible for three very significant EU programs that cover very broad areas. These are the ‘Erasmus+’ program, which is aimed at youth education and sports, the ‘Horizon Europe’ program, which focuses on science, research, and innovation, and the third program that covers the creative and cultural sector called ‘Creative Europe.’
