Bratislava – The Government Office of the Slovak Republic will carry out an inspection of the project of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family (MPSVaR) of the Slovak Republic entitled Aid to Persons from Ukraine in Their Admission and Integration on the Territory of Slovakia. Inspectors will check the process of providing and using EU funds provided from the European Regional Development Fund. TASR was informed about this by the Press and Information Department of the Government Office of the Slovak Republic on Monday.
The relevant activities will be under the auspices of the Control Section of the Government Office of the Slovak Republic. The office further stated that at this stage it will not provide more information.
The MPSVaR project is a national project within which the Ministry of Labor allocated financial resources from the European Union (EU) funds in 2023 in the total amount of 16.9 million euros to a consortium of non-profit organizations.
The consortium was created and led by the non-profit organization Open Society Foundation Bratislava and its five partners, namely the Foundation Center for Philanthropy, EKOPOLIS Foundation, Pontis Foundation, Children’s Foundation Slovakia and SOCIA – Foundation for Supporting Social Change. The consortium further distributed financial resources from EU funds to another 110 non-profit organizations. (February 10)
