The new European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Stéphane Séjourné, stated that the EU would defend its industry, particularly its steel industry, against unfair competition from foreign countries.
Interest in electric cars, however, is currently rather declining. In the first ten months of this year, just under 96,000 were produced in the Czech Republic, and last year it was 130,000 electric cars for the entire year.
The acting social minister said that job preparation, upskilling, and reskilling will be funded with over 300 million BGN.
The EU had requested the corresponding step. Austria’s Minister of Agriculture Totschnig (ÖVP) welcomed the decision and called for rapid implementation.
The latest Eurobarometer survey showed strong support for the common European currency in member states, with support being even a few percentage points higher in Slovenia, where Slovenians see the main advantage of the euro in shopping and doing business in other EU countries.
