BRUSSELS (ANP) – The European Commission was not aware that an investigation was underway into possible money laundering practices by former EU Commissioner Didier Reynders (Justice). “The Commission has not been informed of this before,” said a spokeswoman for the European Commission on Wednesday. The Commission also has no further information on the matter.
There is a criminal investigation against former European Commissioner and Belgian Minister Didier Reynders. He allegedly tried to launder black money through National Lottery games.
Through this budget, priority sectors will receive support, such as: education, healthcare, infrastructure, digital services, agriculture, and the EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans will be financed as a priority, as an important instrument for accelerating the country’s economic and social convergence.
From batteries for electric cars to hydrogen: Climate-neutral technologies are to be further advanced in Europe. For this, the European Commission is providing more than 4 billion euros, part of which is intended for decarbonization technologies.
It will allow the formalization of the request for the fifth disbursement of ‘Next Generation EU’ funds for more than 7.5 billion euros in transfers, along with the first two loan disbursements, which will result in a total amount close to 25 billion euros.
